Canopy piloting / The course

The concept of this High Performance Canopy Course is split up into two parts, theory and practice. A ground school will impart detailed information about aerodynamics, canopy design, flying characteristics and landing approaches.

In the practical part “hop and pop” jumps are done from 7000 ft. After every round of landings, a group debriefing will be done and every landing will be analysed on the basis of the filming from two camera angles. An individual briefing will follow and then back up again.

Those that are interested in downsizing to a smaller canopy have got the opportunity to advance stepwise. Canopies in a certain range are available. If you want to make sure, send us your details and we’ll take care.

At the end of the course, each participant receives a tape with all his / her landings.
