Organized by Fly Warriors, a selection of the best European skydivers has met this week in Skydive Empuriabrava, where they have achieved a new European Freefly Head Up Record. A formation of 18 jumpers has been built successfully and, a few minutes later, the FAI judges, after watching the images recorded by Gustavo Cabana, have validated the new European Head Up Record.

In order to achieve the record the group of skydivers has jumped from a height of 17,500 feet.

To date, most of the Freefly records used to be in Head Down (the most current position used by freeflyers). Lately, the position of Head Up (also called Upright), which is also a Freefly position, is becoming more common.

Next year, Skydive Arizona will held a Head Up World Record Attempt.
