There are no special physical requirements necessary to do a tandem, however before jumping you must sign a “declaration of fitness to skydive”. To do a tandem jump it is necessary to wear comfortable clothing as well as sport shoes. The choice of clothing should be according to the season.
In winter it is recommended to wear 2 thick jerseys (one should be a polar), as well as gloves that fit well on the hands and cannot come off in freefall. In summer one can wear a t-shirt, but always with long pants and sport shoes. Limitations for tandems are physical:
Minimum height: 120 cm
Minimum weight: 35 kg
Maximum weight (fully clothed): 90 kg
Maximum weight (fully clothed) with favourable wind conditions: 100 kg
There is no age restriction on tandem jumps. However, people under the age of 18 may only jump if they have the authorization from the responsible parent. Either of the parents and the minor must show their identity documents.
People over 65 will have to bring a medical certificate specifying that they are able to take part in a parachute jump.
