JURASSIC PARTY II - THE LOST WORLD

The weekend of 16th October saw the 25th birthday of Skydive Empuriabrava. Following on from the Jurassic party for the 20th Anniversary, Bruno Brokken again put together over 3 hours of footage showing the best bits from each year. The plan being to show the DVD in Captains Cabin. The favourite haunt of skydivers and staff over the years.
Mitch Dacoteu and Roland Hilfiker, original owners of Skydive Empuriabrava(previously Centro de paracadismo costa brava, and Skydive Spain) were here for the weekend and both decided to jump! Mitch had not jumped for over 10 years and Roland 15. This brought more retired skydivers out of the woodwork like Pete Jones (last jumped 7 years ago) Ski Pete (10 years) Rolf……………..(10 years)
Out of retirement came Richie Horning to organise the skydive.
The showing of the DVD on the Saturday night took everyone to CaptaIns, the place was packed to the doors. Each year on the screen was backed by the music from that year too! What a great weekend!
