Head Up, the new discipline
The Upright World Record Try Out has been a success. Sara and Steve Curtis from Arizona Arsenal together with Antonio Aria from Indoor Skydiving Bottrop, the Empuriabrava Fly Warriors and all the participants made a total of 480 jumps creating a formation of 25 way head up. The Beech 99 and the Twin Otter climbed to 16,500 feet to more than 30 skydivers to enable them creating the formation.
From the 21st to the 27th of September will take place the first European Head Up Record that will attempt to create a formation of Head Up as large as possible.To do this they will jump from 17,500 feet with oxygen using the Beech 99, the Twin Otter and the Pilatus Porter. On the 21st and the 22nd of September there will be the optional warm ups jumps and the rest of the week there will be a maximum of 20 jumps to achieve the record.
Any skydiver who meets the minimum criteria can participate.
